This home is located in downtown Austin at the Four Seasons Residence and has views of Lady Bird Lake and easy access to Austin’s vibrant, urban scene. The client, a bachelor and part-time Austin resident, wanted to create a space which was at once both masculine and soft to provide a backdrop for showcasing local artwork. A neutral gray palette coupled with warm artwork maintains masculinity while keeping the space cozy and modern. The Murano Chandelier provides the space with a sophisticated Art Deco accent and eclectic furnishings from Chicago, New York, and Austin make the space unique. Custom mill-work was designed to hide a Murphy Bed in the second bedroom, which allowed the space to function as a “Man Cave” by day and a functioning guest room by night.
